We Asked. She Answered. Now You Know.
1. Why did you join the Pisgah Energy team?
I decided to join Pisgah Energy because it gave me an incredible opportunity to use my creative skills to help build a company whose mission I really believe in. It’s critical to our health and the health of the planet that we make the switch to renewable energy and I’m excited to be a small part of that transition.
The icing on the cake? I get to work with my husband every day. I honestly love being able to share this passion with him.
2. Have you worked in renewable energy before?
Yes! Before Pisgah Energy, I worked with a couple of other solar companies to implement targeted B2B marketing campaigns. Lead Generation is my middle name.
3. What excites you most about the future of renewable energy?
I can’t wait to see how the growing use of energy storage changes the game for solar and other renewables. Because storage plays a critical role in reaching 100% carbon-free energy, we can expect to see a lot of exciting advances in battery technology. Watch this space.

4. Favorite pastime?
I love backpacking with my husband and our pupster, Ruby. It may sound pretty cliché, but being out in the woods always heals what ails me.

It’s not planned at all, but I would love to spend a month or two in New Zealand. It just seems like an incredibly magical place. Hobbits and Golems and elves – oh my!

Well, I’m an actor so I’ve had a lot of ‘weird’ jobs. Picking one is tough, but I once played a dagger-wielding, evil elf in an indie sci-fi/fantasy movie. It was never finished, but I still have the daggers. I don’t know what happened to the pointy ears.
